6 v 6 Soccer Rules

Game Times:

   There is a 15 minute grace period for each game after that it will be considered a forfeit. 2 forfeits and your team can be dropped from the league. There is a forfeit fee in all our leagues. In soccer it is $20 NO MATTER how much notice you give after the full schedule has been posted.

Basic Rules:

Two 20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime

Subs made on any dead ball

Each team must have at least four (4) players to start a game

Minimum of two (2) girls playing per team at all times
     guy-girl ratio must be 3-1, female player can be goalie

Field Dimensions: 60 yds x 30 yds

NO OFFSIDES

NO SLIDE TACKLING/PLAYING THE BALL WHILE LYING ON THE FIELD, players can be warned/ejected at officials determination

No throw ins, instead it will be a direct kick where the ball went out.  (There will still be corners and goal kicks

Goals can be scored from anywhere on the field.

Player walls must be at least 5 yards away

ALL FREE KICKS ARE INDIRECT (must touch another player on the kicking team before scoring)

PLAYOFF TIES:
If a playoff game ends in a tie there will be an additional 10 min period of sudden death. If after that 10min period, the game is still tied there will be a best of 5 shoot-out until there is a winner (away team kicks first.)

CREASE RULE:

Crease is where no player can play the ball, 5 yards out from the end line and 3 yards out from each goal post along the end line.

If offensive player plays the ball it is a goal kick.

If defensive player plays the ball, a spot/penalty kick is awarded 8 yards out.

No scoring in crease, no dribbling in crease, no defensive standing in crease.

Passing through the crease is allowed.
